Here's Santa in the corner of the kitchen.

This is my ridiculous tree collection.

And this is the newest addition to the ridiculous tree collection. (And Texas.)

Christmas Presents! Part VII

Yesterday, Christian, Christie, Addie and Lexi came to visit us and we celebrated Christmas/Birthday by opening gifts, going out to eat at the Kani House and playing Uno. Christian and Christie are expert gift givers who managed to hit my 3 of my 4 loves in their two gifts to me: books, jewelry and purses. Anyone want to guess my 4th love? (Shaun is not included in this list.) :)
They also got Shaun this book, which we are both pumped to read, and a Wii game.
Also, Christian terrorized poor little Minerva-kins.

Though, knowing Minerva, she was probably purring the entire time.

Christmas Presents! Part VI

I wanted a Coach purse for Christmas. The end. I didn't give Shaun ANY other gift ideas.
But it paid off. Cause my Coach purse is adorable! :)

Christmas Presents! Part V

Garrett's parents Serene and Nick always join in the fun at Krishmas, and since they are generally nice and hygienic, the Krishers welcome them with open arms. Serene always makes these yummy cookie things that have a special Norwegian name I can't remember. This year she shaped them into ice cream cones!

Christmas Presents! Part IV

Tara (the Miller's more crafty half) gave me these...
She called Shaun to ask for Christmas ideas, and his response was "she's a sucker for anything monogrammed." Which I am. Totally. So Tara made me my own personal monogrammed grocery totes. Freakin' adorable.

Christmas Presents! Part III

Garrett apologized to me in advance for giving Shaun this...
so I guess I can't really be too mad at the Millers. :) Garrett won a new XBox, so the old XBox and games have made it's way to our house to accompany the new TV. Joy.

Christmas Presents! Part II

Shaun decided that my stocking stuffers should be a pair of shoes since he's "bad at picking out little things." He actually wrapped each individual high heel...we took pictures but they are on his camera, so you'll have to wait to see his glorious wrapping job.
After we opened stockings, we headed to WaHo for a yummy diet-wrecking breakfast that has become our tradition. Then we drove out to the Krisher Compound...
I think Shaun's complaints about the no-TV situation in our house finally wore his parents down because they bought us this...
Shaun is totally pumped. He's dying to put it up and get to work on his "media center." What a little software junkie.

Christmas Presents! Part I

So, our Christmas morning started with opening stockings. My parents sent us a "Stocking in a Box" all the way from Oregon. Included in the box was muchas food (YUM!) and this little guy...

Look Mom!

"Your brother and Christie have a blog so that I know what's going on with them." "I haven't seen your new hair yet cause you haven't sent pictures!" "I thought you were going to take pictures of your house all decorated for Christmas, but I haven't seen those yet."

Alright, Mom, I get the picture. You can stop with the hounding.
